NCHSAA Wrestling and Diving Championships Schedule Changes

CHAPEL HILL — The NCHSAA Board of Directors has determined that, to accommodate schools that have lost practice time due to inclement weather and to provide wrestlers with an opportunity to practice and compete, the NCHSAA dual team wrestling seeding has been postponed until Friday, January 30. The deadline for submitting information to TrackWrestling is Thursday, January 29 at 11:59 p.m. 
 
The first and second rounds will now be held on Tuesday, February 3. The third and fourth rounds are scheduled for Thursday, February 5, with the State Championships taking place as scheduled on Saturday, February 7.
 
Additionally, due to forecasted weather and potential travel restrictions from schools and PSUs, the Regional Diving Championships have been cancelled. Divers who had qualified for the Regionals will advance to the State Championships. 
 
The Board of Directors will convene and make a final determination on the Regional Swimming Championships later this evening.
